I love butter. I love cooking with butter. I love the way it tastes, the way it smells, and the way it gives food that little extra.
I am a convert to real butter. My mom used a lot of that stuff in the tub when I was a kid. I started using real butter and we’ve never looked back. The only thing I hate is the price. Challenge Butter to the rescue – you can print a coupon to save!

The new year is right around the corner, and I’m going to be taking a long hard look at our finances. I tell my coupon classes that a budget is you telling where your money to go instead of it telling you (credit: internet and Dave Ramsey), but we fell off that train in the month of December. I know better and I did it anyway.
We’re going back to cash for everything except the bills we pay online. After those bills are paid, everything else is going to be withdrawn from the bank, and put into envelopes. Savings. Gasoline. Husband’s lunch. GROCERIES. Incidentals. There’s furniture we want to buy. There’s a possible vacation on the horizon. There’s home improvement projects we want to work on.
And we can’t do that if we’re living paycheck to paycheck.
Returning to full time employment after a period of unemployment is hard. There are a lot of gaps in my stockpile. Grocery prices are still rising, with no end in sight. I expect to see another jump for butter, sugar, and flour after the holidays. So, I’m going to put some money aside every month for those great deals you can’t seem to pass up.

The lovely folks at ICaughtSanta.com have offered to help you surprise someone you love this holiday season with a fun and easy Giveaway and Review… You can see how it works here. It seriously took me no time to insert Santa into a picture and fiddle with it a bit. They also have Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Cupid varieties that you can use all year round!
Now, of course, my big kids (ages 15 and 11) are a little old for believing in Santa, but it’s still cute and adorable. If you have younger kids, this might even keep them believing in the magic of the season for longer. I wasn’t able to find a good place to take a picture I like, so I picked an older picture. I’m positive Chris will get a kick out of it. And even if he doesn’t, I will. 
You can save your image for printing at home, send it to Walgreens, or share it on your favorite social media site – this is strictly a digital product. I put it on Facebook, but didn’t tag the teenager. I’m saving that for if he aggravates me before Christmas.
This was such an easy and fun thing to do. You could take a picture of your Christmas tree and put Santa in.

The lovely folks at Personalized Free allowed me to pick out a pretty! I’ve received other ornaments, but this one is simply beautiful.
They are a family run company, and they take great pride in their work! I can tell you that I have NEVER received something so carefully packed. My ornament was wrapped in bubble wrap, in a box, filled with packing peanuts. It was in perfect condition, and my poor pictures really don’t do it justice. My son received the last ornament, so it was Jordan’s turn. She loves to paint and draw so this was perfect.
I also had my eye on this dinosaur, and a few other ornaments from their site.
