Menu Plan Monday!
Monday: Pasta day! Kids requested fend for yourself. DH and I will probably have a remake of TGI Friday’s Sizzling Chicken Parm. 😀
Tuesday: Taco Tuesday! Soft tacos, spanish rice, and refried beans. Ground beef is $4, tortillas $1, cheese $.50, sour cream $.50 and veggies $1. Rice, rotel, and refried beans were free with coupons. Cost will be about $7.
Wednesday: Crockpot meal! I’m going to be at the Rodeo (I’m a committee member) BBQ pork for the rest of the family. This is quite possibly the simplest meal I make and everyone loves it. Throw a frozen pork loin, 1 bottle of barbeque sauce and some spices into the crockpot on low, and cook till dinner time! Shred meat and serve on buns with french fries. Cost: Under $5.
Thursday: New Recipe Day! Chicken and broccoli pasta, from here again. Doubling the recipe fed everyone once, but I’ll probably cook another pound of pasta so we can have some leftovers for lunch. Not technically a new recipe, but one I want to play with.
Friday: Crockpot Meal! Possibly crockpot roast, or maybe baked chicken. Depends on when I get home.
Saturday: Fend for yourself/clean out the fridge/freezer day.
Sunday: Eat Out or soup and sandwiches.
